Oak Firewood is slow burning with high BTU’s.
Birch Firewood is more fragrant, colorful and has a better flame.
Don't get BURNED: Make sure that you get the amount of wood you are paying for!!
Many firewood suppliers will try to take advantage of customers by delivering less wood than you ordered. You can save money by following these easy tips:
1. Never buy wood that is sold by the piece. Split wood can very greatly in size and the smaller the piece of wood, the less you recieve.
2. Don't buy wood from a dealer that uses the criss-cross stacking method. This is the oldest trick in the book. You should be aware that by offering free stacking, this dealer is able to criss-cross stack the wood making it appear that you are recieving more wood than you actually are.
